A Heron kind of day!
The island was blanketed in fog this morning, but it didn't stop any picture taking! Lots of herons to photograph. I had a great opportunity to photograph a Great Blue Heron in all the glory of its mating plumage.

My two favorite birds are the Great Blue Heron and the Roseate Spoonbill. I took lots of photos of this gorgeous Great Blue Heron today!

Little Blue Heron on the hunt
Although you don't really see any green, this is a Green Heron. He ran by very fast, but I managed to catch one picture of him.

These two Ibis had a little dance party.
A Roseate Spoonbill made an appearance.
Didn't expect to see an alligator with all the fog, but there he was, waiting on the sun to come out!
