We made a trip through the refuge this morning at low tide. There was a gator in an area where we don't normally see them. None of the birds seemed very concerned about him, though. This was the first time I'd gotten a photo of a Black-Crowned Night Heron.
There was a bit of a dust up over a shrimp. Granted, it was a nice big shrimp, though!
And then . . . what goes around, comes around!!
