Early Sunday Morning at Low Tide

A breezy, cool morning and a low tide made for great conditions to get pictures at Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island today. I took far too many pictures and had a really hard time deciding which ones to share! Hope you enjoy them all!
We were able to get really close to this Yellow-Crowned Night Heron
The bright morning sun made this Heron have some amazing colors!
Yes, I can get great Osprey photos in my back yard, but I couldn't pass this one up! He seemed to be posing for all the photographers.
Fishing near the edge of the water!
Such a beautiful bird!
This White Pelican had a particularly large bump on his beak. I read that this happens during mating season and it is shed at the end of breeding season. Interesting!
I had a chance to get several Spoonbill Roseate photos today. I kinda went a little crazy with it!
This isn't a great photo, but I love the dorky landing of the Spoonbill beside the graceful Great Blue Heron and the White Pelicans.
Make way! I'm coming in!
The markings on this Spoonbill looks like it is wearing headphones!
This was a complete feeding frenzy! They must have found a pocket of shrimp (see the one in the beak of the Heron on the right).
And yeah, I do like taking photos of the Roseate Spoonbills!
This Little Blue Heron is dancing to Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off"
Juvenile Yellow-Crowned Night Heron
Right beside the juvenile was the adult Yellow-Crowned Night Heron looking quite bored!
We got a chance to see the gator sunning himself again. He stood up, took a couple of steps and hissed and I backed away quickly!!
And this last photo is just my lens envy!
